Did you know?

Every five minutes someone in the United Sates learns that he or she has leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma - more than 300 people a day.

Every ten minutes a child or adult is expected to die from blood-related cancers. This statistic represents six people every hour. This is simply hard to imagine!

Amy Livesay, the wife of the Mark (owner of Ultramax Events) is a Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor. Amy was diagnosed and entered cancer treatment just a few weeks after they first met. Amy has been cancer free now for 10 years. Since that time, Amy and Mark have finished hundreds of multi-sport events , including 15 Ironman Triathlons together.

Amy's survivor story is a testament that this disease can be beaten back!

MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE

It our time to give something back, and Mark and Amy are asking for your help! Amy will be the Honored Teammate for the 2008 Tour de Vine.
Her request is simple:

1. Sign up to ride in the Tour de Vine!

2. Take the Challenge to raise an additional $100
(minimum)
*This additional fundraising is not required to ride in the Tour de Vine.

We have some special gift incentives to identify those on the tour that reach certain fundraising levels. We designed the gifts to be used while you are on the Tour!

  • Top Fundraiser: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Jacket
  • $500 or more: TNT Duffle bag
  • $300 or more: TNT Chair

Most of you are familiar with the amazing Team in Training Program. Here is an easy way to contribute to the mission with a small commitment. We encourage you to ride for someone you know who has lost the fight to cancer, those still fighting this disease and those that will in the future!

Fundraising information, tracking sheets are all online now. We have worked hard to make this a simple, fun and effective fundraising campaign.
