Race Director
Mark and Amy Livesay, are the owners of Ultramax Events and The Starting Block (Columbia and Springfield, Missouri). Together they have finished hundreds of multi-sport events, including 15 Ironman Triathlons. Among those Ironman finishes is a husband-wife appearance at the 2002 Ironman World Triathlon Championships, held on the Big Island of Hawaii. Together, we have raced around the world and we have seen first hand what it takes to deliver a world-class event.
Ultramax Events is a full-service event production, logistics and timing service company. Ultramax has been in the sports management business for the past 12 years. We are one of the largest and most respected timing and event production companies in the nation. We have directly
managed more than 60 events, including several USA Triathlon national and regional championships.
The Ultramax Team is 100% focused and committed to the total event experience. We provide timing and event management services for a wide spectrum of events. Our expertise includes running races, cycling races and tours, triathlons, duathlons, adventure races and multi-day event productions.
Our staff has a very strong background in the world of multi-sport and is lead by a USA Triathlon Certified Event Director. The Ultramax management team has over 40 years of combined competition and race-production experience.

Ultramax is focused on expanding the fitness movement and getting people engaged in an active lifestyle. All of our events are beginner friendly and we've added many features to help new people get into the multi-sport world.
The Starting Block stores in Columbia, MO and Springfield, MO are also part of the Ultramax family. The mission is the same at that store. The Starting Block specializes in helping YOU get STARTED! The name of our store was based on that philosophy.
Raw enthusiasm and love for multi-sport was the passion and inspiration behind the opening of The Starting Block.

2010 Refund Policy
50% of your entry fee will be refunded up until 45 days from race date. Refunds are not available, for any reason other than
active military service, less than 45 days prior to an event.
Event entries are not transferable between persons, events or years.
SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy.
By registering for this event you agree to these refund terms. To request a refund you must email your full details to info@ultramaxtri.com.
2010 WEATHER POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, the following procedures will be followed:
- The event will be postponed as long as possible in hopes the inclement weather will pass.
- If the event is not possible, the event will be cancelled and a 25% credit for next year will be issued for all registered participants in the 2010 event. No refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather.
NOTE: We are not able to tranfer entries to future years.
